The scene engraved is inspired by Venetian lagoon and the secrets which make it unique. The effects given by etching techniques on zinc make this scene mysterious and evocative. In the work, there are two different levels which overlap. One is the water\u2019s morphology and the other is the reflection of the wooden poles which are witnesses to the presence of man.  The laguna offers a very special experience\u00a0 in which the horizon line seems to vanish; the water and the sky join in a still environment creating a magical silent sensation of flying.
